Technological sectors

Industrial Robotics

Industrial robots are the most important technology of production systems and automation. Industrial robots are employed in applications such as object handling, machining, assembly and supervision.

Digital Twin (DT)

DT technology involves the combination of  computer simulated models of various physical systems with the real systems in a flexible environment where their  configuration and optimization is enabled.

Big Data

Big Data in manufactory involves the collection of large data sets. The data could be utilized in applications such as forecasting, quality forecasting, debugging, mechanical vision, product lifecycle optimization, supply chain management, production forecasting, and workplace optimization.

IoT

IoT integrates a variety of physical objects into a communication network via  installed sensors and software. IoT technology is directly related to industrial applications such as forecast maintenance, remote production control, asset tracking, transport management and Digital Twin.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI algorithms may process data from vision sensors and detect defects in products. In addition, they could evaluate signals which gathered from machines and devices and predict several failures in production processes. They also contribute to the optimization of Digital Twins through parameter estimation. AI algorithms are also employed to identify optimal solutions in product design. Other important areas  AI in production are the forecast of energy consumption and the management of supply chains.

Augmented Reality Virtual Reality AR-VR

Augmented and virtual reality already hold a key position in modern industry. These technologies are combined with the introduction of portable devices such as tablets and smart glasses in the industrial environment. The Physical space is merged with digital audiovisual information and provides instructions and production data to the operator.
